Over the weekend, Taiwan showed the world how beautiful life can be without new cases of COVID-19. The Taiwan Ultra Music Festival was held on November 14, and the festival’s headliner was Alesso.
Pictures from the festival are circulating on the Internet and cause nostalgia for the times when we could gather in large groups and enjoy. Taiwan is able to host mass music festivals because they have not had new COVID-19 cases for more than 200 days, CNN reports.
And how did they do it?
A quick response to the first COVID-19 case on January 21 and a travel ban from Wuhan to his country, even before the introduction of lockdown. Although it is important to note that Taiwan had a huge advantage, because it is a small island country, which makes it easier to control the transmission of the virus. All in all, we hope that in the near future we will be able to visit a bigger festival or party in our country or in the surrounding area.
Sets from Road to Ultra Taiwan 2020 music festival signed by Alesso, Kayzo, Slander and Vini Vici can be seen below, as well as the RTL report.
