The debut single on Global Entry Recordings comes from the LA-born, Berlin-based
label head Galestian via ‘Hindsight’ – a deep and stirring production of outlier house
and melody-rich techno. ‘Hindsight’ is a personal story that relates to all of us, whilst
penned in a pre-Covid world, commenting on man’s propensity to study the past with
new clarity.
Helping him convey his message is Grammy-nominated Capital Cities legend, Sebu,
who brings a vitality, freshness and honesty not often seen in emotionally-charged
dance music. Whether composing multi-platinum, stadium anthems like ‘Safe & Sound’
– or forward-thinking, club-primed weaponry like ‘Hindsight’ – it’s clear this
Californian’s at home wherever he lays his hat.
Suring up the record’s evergreen credentials is revered underground hero, Olivier
Giacamotto, who carefully threads the boys’ original mix through his own powerful 4/4
filter – repurposing ‘Hindsight’ for a post-Covid world and peak-time dancefloor.
Global Entry Recordings will be the international destination for Galestian’s solo output
and the carefully selected works of like-minded collaborators. Mirroring his love of
travel and exploration, the label will draw upon the myriad styles soaked up through his
own musical adventures. Expect a heady mix of deep, ethereal and ethnically-infused
