A new research has shown what are some of the most popular drugs called on street
The Project Know education platform recently conducted a study that collected and compared the names of street drugs from different American states, trying to determine the extent to which slang differs in countries when it comes to marijuana, LSD, heroin, cocaine and other illicit substances.
The study included 1150 women and men, and the goal was to determine how much the terminology of illegal substances in jargon differs depending on the geographical position, age and gender of the respondents. The results showed that the names of drugs are completely different from generation to generation and that “men use more hidden terminology, while women use epithets more often.“
